Three different things under one slogan

The phrase "foil on the table" is entered by three different groups of searchers.

The first group is looking for self-adhesive foil for covering furniture - it is a completely different product, it permanently sticks to the surface.

The second group is looking for a protective construction foil for renovation or relocation - disposable, thin, not durable.

The third group - and here we are helpful - is looking for a transparent protective mat that is permanently placed on the countertop, without gluing, and can be removed, washed or replaced.

What is the difference between a mat and a foil?

The most important difference: the mat does not stick anything to the countertop.

No glue. The mat lies freely on the countertop - you don't have to peel anything off when you want to take it off.

It does not change the appearance of the countertop. The transparent material shows the original color and surface pattern.

Cut to size. Unlike foil on a roll, the mat is cut to fit a specific countertop - we describe it here.

This is how you'll know you're looking for a mat

Six signals that this is the right product.

  • You want to take it off for the party

The mat is not glued - you can take it off and put it back whenever you want.

  • You spill liquids often

Spills don't get under the mat if it lies flat on the counter.

  • The top is wooden or varnished

You don't want glue that will leave a mark on the finish.

  • You need it cut to size

Rolled foil does not provide even edges on an unusual countertop.

  • You care about durability

The PVC mat is scratch-resistant for many years.

  • You are looking for a permanent solution

You don't want to have to replace the protection every season.

What the mat won't do

Be honest about the limitations.

The mat will not replace construction foil when painting or laying floors - ordinary, disposable foil is better for renovation work.

The mat does not stick to the countertop, so if you are looking for a durable veneer that changes the appearance of the furniture, you need a self-adhesive foil, not our product.
